Got one decent run in. Then Robbie showed up just in time to see the manifold let loose. Guess it's payback for laughing at him when his did the same thing last year. tongue.gif

A little welding should do it. And an extra brace or two and probably ditch the exhaust system.

11.6@126 on 24 psi. It spun on the rev limiter through 2nd because i forgot to launch on low boost.

A funny thing: yesterday I wasn't bothered about it breaking, today i'm all bummed out. sad.gif Dont know why; it's odd.

My car blew up there yesterday, so you got off easy. I'm down in the dumps today too. Oh well. It is a good excuse to order thst sleeved block and 84.5mm pistons.

Ouch, you had a solid setup... What broke?

Dont worry robin, that first pass is a good start to a good year for ya. If you need anything holler at me.
HI OFECR
Thows welds are f-ing tiny! its a wonder it lasted as long as it did.

Looking at it the flange wasn't welded well on the sides, that's where it started cracking. The rest of the manifold looks fine. (to me anyway) I'll hit it with the mig.

I'm guessing I cracked a sleeve, but I haven't ripped it apart yet.

just be glad the manifold blew before your floor board shot out. then all hell would of broke loose

A guy on ebay made em in his basement shop. That's the story he gave anyway. It was reasonably priced.
