I sold car and the guy bought it and fixed it up and supposedly re sold it, But it us still titled to me. I called BMV and the title place and they said there isnt anything i can do...

It still had a temp plate and i kept the plate and the registration and both are expired. So wouldnt who ever is driving it get in trouble for not having it in there name if they get pulled over?

They guy sold it last week so i guess its possible the person who bought it got a temp plate etc..

If the guy gets in trouble how can i be held responsible I cant force him to go get the title in his name...

To answer your question:No. You can do nothing about it besides maybe trying to call the new owner and talk to them. Whoever owns it can't drive it legally if it's still in your name and the tag/registration are expired. If they get caught driving it I doubt you would get in trouble...if anything the police would probably think that they stole it from you.

This stuff happens when you let someone take a title without them signing it.

After 30 days in ky we just apply for a duplicate title if the person that bought/traded the car does not transfer it into there name..

If its still in your name duplicate the title and get ahold of the new owner tell them you wanna go to dmv with them to see it get legally transferred..

Only America's Most Reliable Wireless Network makes an offer like this. Activate service on any Verizon Wireless Nationwide or Broadband Access Calling Plan, and Test Drive our network for up to 30 days. If you're not convinced that Verizon Wireless has the best wireless network, port your number to another wireless carrier at anytime during those 30 days and the calls you made will be on us. Please note that in order to take your number to another carrier, you must continue your service until your number is switched, so do not cancel your Verizon Wireless service before your number is active with a new service provider. These are the charges that are, or are not, eligible for credit if you port your number to another wireless carrier within 30 days of activation:
